To: The McCleskey Family.
1 Thessalonians 4:16-18 For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord. Therefore encourage one another with these words.
Make you’ll find comfort in knowing God has prepared a place for Marla and she is not alone; your Father, Mother and Regina will be at the gates of heaven waiting to receive her. Her job here on earth is complete, she has touched many and I know this because she touched my life at Cumberland and when I was embraced by the McCleskey family 43 years ago, in their home on Sumac in Dayton during our college breaks. God reach out to me days before Marla’s passing to reconnect me with Mickey and the Family to say good-by today. God and His wisdom is away on time, moments like this reassures us of his presents in our lives. Make God continue to bless this family and I will always keep my extended family in my prayers, love you guys.

I shall treasure the memories of all of us at Belmont High School during those years of Freedom of Enrollment. Our joy, laughter and sadness that we often share with one another riding the bus to Belmont, both the St. John Transportation and City Transit. I would often see Marla since those years and she always had time to share with me. We grieve not as if we have no hope, the dead in Christ shall rise first and we that are left behind shall be caught up to meet them in the air. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.
