IVORY, LaYondra Ann, affectionately known as “Toi”, entered her eternal life April 16, 2017 at the home of her eldest sister, Reba. LaYondra was born June 21, 1950 in Shreveport, LA, the second child of six, to Oliver and Julia Ivory and lived the majority of her adult life in Columbus, OH. Her entrepreneurial pursuits included the establishment of Toi’s Catering and LaYondra’s Cleaning Service. During this journey, Toi has had the opportunity to impact the lives of many people. She was an active member of AA and was invited to be an advocate around the country. Her travels included trekking through Europe and the United States. Ann was loved by her siblings, Charles (Tina) Ivory of Omaha, NE, Reba (James) King, Rosiland Morris, Shirley Lindsey, all of Dayton, Brenda (Carl) Young of Austintown, OH. At her sunset she leaves to her legacy, Billy D. Ivory, LaTicia “Cookie” and LaChonda “Candy” Wright, Bettina L. Long, all of Ohio; 20 grand and great grandchildren; other family and friends. Memorial service 1 pm Saturday, April 22, 2017 at the House of Wheat Funeral Home, Inc., 2107 N. Gettysburg Ave. Rev. Joseph Coleman, Canaan M.B. Church, officiating. Calling hour 12 noon at which time family will receive friends.
