Elliott Russell Boyd

BOYD, Elliott Russell, age 66, of Dayton, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, June 14, 2017. He was the second son of the late Charles, Sr. and Julia (Gibbs) Boyd. He was a graduate of Jefferson Twp. High School in 1969, and graduated from Central State University. He was employed with General Motors. He was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses and attended the West Central Congregation. He is survived by his son, Nykel Elliott Boyd; siblings, Charles Boyd, Jr., Carole Kelly, Marsha Boyd, Rodney (Bridgett) Boyd; a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be held 1 pm Thursday, June 22, 2017 at the House of Wheat Funeral Home, Inc., 2107 N. Gettysburg Ave. Bro. Albert Jones officiating. Visitation 10 am Thursday at the funeral home until time of service. Family will receive friends one hour prior to service.
