Winifred A. Wynn

WYNN, Ms. Winifred “Winnie”, age 87, born January 12, 1933 in Dayton, Ohio to Thomas and Lizzie Reed, departed this life Monday, August 24, 2020 at her home.

She attended Dunbar High School and was a member of Greater St. John Missionary Baptist church. She was an employee of Project Will for many years.

Winnie was a friend to all and was devoted to God and her family. She was never too tired and would help in hours of need. She was a good listener to all who had a problem.

Preceded in death by her daughter, Valerie L. Wynn; four sisters and one brother. She leaves to cherish her memory her son, Phillip Wynn; daughters, Nathana J. Talley and Vicki E. Lee; sister, Hazel Brumfield; grandchildren, Phillip (Lisa) Talley, Telana Montgomery, Louis Wynn, Chuckie Lee; a host of great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Walk-through Visitation will be held 9-11 am Tuesday, September 1, 2020 at the House of Wheat Funeral Home, Inc., 2107 N. Gettysburg Ave. Private Service. Interment Woodland Cemetery.
