Willie Dean Ellison Jr.

Willie Dean Ellison Jr., aka “Bear/Poonk,” was our protector and gentle giant. He was 45 years old, born July 21, 1978, to Wanda Alexander and Willie Dean Ellison Sr. of Dayton Ohio. He transitioned from earth to Glory at Miami Valley Hospital July 17, 2024. Leaving behind his very own Brady Bunch; built, grew, and adored by him dearly. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Catherine Ellison; his children, Kayla Charlton, Nia Ellison, Jaylen Bryant, Willie Ellison lll, Demarco Ellison and Elhana Ellison; stepchildren, Brevan Williams, Amondre Williams, Korday Twymon and Daylen McCarty Ellison; grandchildren, Jonsai Williams, Anastasia Charlton, Alexander Charlton, Milaya Williams, Aus Williams, and Nyla Williams; and grandmother, Grace Alphabet; along with a host of family, friends, and coworkers he cared for. Thank you to the House of Wheat Funeral Home, located at 2107 North Gettysburg Ave Dayton, OH, in hosting Willie's upcoming Celebration of Life on Friday, July 26, 2024.
