Wallace Sheppheard, Jr.

Wallace Sheppheard Jr. “Moon”, born January 23, 1946, in Dayton, Ohio to Wallace Sr. and Viola (Washington) Sheppheard, departed this life Wednesday, March 23, 2022, under Hospice care.

Wallace Jr. loved to cook, fish, bowl and listen to music. In 1964, he graduated from Jefferson High School, that year he ran cross country and won state. In 1998, he achieved a perfect game in bowling and received a 300-bowling ring.

Wallace Jr. worked for General Motors from 1964 until he retired in 1995.

He was preceded in death by his mother, father, and brothers, Frank, Jessie, James, Irvin and Nathaniel Sheppheard.

He leaves to cherish his memories, sons, Wallace Sheppheard III, Alvin (Lakina) Sheppheard, Joshua Sheppheard; daughters, Viola Renaye (Brandon) Morrow, Racheal Sheppheard and Rochelle Sheppheard; brothers, Earl Sheppheard, George Sheppheard, Walter “Hank” (Pam) Sheppheard and Joseph Sheppheard; fourteen grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Walk-through visitation 9-11 am Saturday, April 2, at the House of Wheat Funeral Home, Inc., 2107 N. Gettysburg Ave. Funeral service at 11 am. (Mask Required). Interment West Memory Gardens.
