Mrs. Theodora Watson, age 75, of Dayton, Ohio, departed this life on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at Hospice of Dayton. She was born in Dayton, Ohio where she resides her entire life.
She accepted Christ at an early age and worshiped with her family. She graduated from Roosevelt High School and worked in the Health Care field caring for many family members and friends.
The Watson home on Riverview Avenue was a hub of love for the community. She was affectionately called Maw Maw by all the kids and family. She loved to work in the yard and sit on the porch playing her gospel music.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Olden (PeeWee) Watson; 3 sons, Thomas B. Watson, Keith L. Watson Sr., and Derrick L. Watson; 1 grandson; father Theodore Sutton; mother, Virgie Wright Shepheard; 1 brother, Tyrone S. Sutton Sr.; 2 sisters, Marva Louise Canty and Darlene Sutton.
She leaves to cherish her memory 4 sisters, Beverly Winston, Sharon (Toni) Sutton, Joyce Sutton (James) Cameron, Etta Jean (Dwight) Ivy, half-brother, Mark Sutton, half-sister, Tchenvia Sutton; brother-in-law, Kenny Watson (Patricia); 15 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 2 stepsons, Olden Limehouse and Robbie Landers; stepdaughter, Catina Green; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
Theodora has finished her climb to the top of the mountain and now a limb has fallen from our family tree. The void is so deep and present in our hearts. We can still hear a soft whisper of her voice saying …… “family I love you, take care of yourself!”
