Stephanie L. Simpson

Stephanie L. Simpson (Henderson), born February 7, 1955 in Dayton, Ohio to Florence H. Kelly and Lonnie J. Henderson, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, December 31, 2020. She was employed at Wright Patterson Air Force Base for many years before pursuing cosmetology. She enjoyed listening to music.

She is preceded in death by husband, Phillip L. Simpson; father, Lonnie J. Henderson; step-father, Horace Kelly, Jr.; and grandparents, Alonzo and Laura Wilkes.

Leaving to cherish her memory is her devoted mother, Florence H. Kelly; two sisters, Loretha Kelly-Whiteside, Lorrie (Richard) Veal; three brothers, Dale Henderson (Janet Russell), Phillip (Adrennia) Kelly, Alan (Tonja) Kelly; and a host of nieces, nephews and many friends.

Walk-through visitation will be held 9:00-11:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at the House of Wheat Funeral Home, Inc., 2107 N. Gettysburg Ave. Due to the pandemic, the family will have a private funeral service. Interment Dayton National Cemetery. Live Streamed service at 11:30 am.
