Shenequa Monae Moss was born December 27th, 1971 in Dayton OH to Ernestine Smith and Larry Cook. She attended Patterson High School and soon after, became a talented, licensed nail technician and was the owner of Expressions Nail Salon. She was known for her skills and artistry through nail design. Shenequa joined Highlight Temple Missionary Baptist Church, October of 2004. She was an active employee at the Crocs factory. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, friends and family. She was a great cook, and hosted many holidays at her residence.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Michael Smith Jr.
Shenequa was survived by her parents Ernestine Smith, and Larry Cook; her sister, Angela Scott (Darryl Scott); 1 daughter, Charelle Mabry; 1 son, Terrell Mabry Jr.; 2 granddaughters' Lila Williams, and Tionna Mabry; 1 grandson' Zo Williams; 2 nephews' Michael Smith III and Mikai Smith; special aunt, Anita Moss-Stephens; 2 special friends, Nikon Hairston and Nicco Turner; and a host of other family, relatives and close friends.
Funeral service 11 am Friday, January 10, 2025 at House of Wheat Funeral Home, 2107 N. Gettysburg Ave., Dayton, OH. Visitation 9 am- 11 am. Family will receive friends 10 am- 11 am. Rev. Dr. Quentin Respress officiating. Interment Shiloh Park Cemetery.
