Shawonna De’Vonne Darden, was called home to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 2, 2021. She attended Dayton Public Schools and was a graduate of Dunbar High School. She was a member of Greater Love Christian Church.
Shawonna was preceded in death by her grandparents, David Conner, Richard and Delores Dixon, Arthur and Clarice Darden; uncles, David and George Conner, Terry and Jay Darden, Tony Wright.
She leaves to cherish her memories, parents, Darrell and Michelle Darden; sons, Louis Darden and Ja’Son Johnson; daughters, Shay Woodard and Ar’Chellea Wilcox; sisters, Cheryl Green and Diamond Darden; grandchildren, Phabein, Skylah, Ayona, Khaleesi, Loyal, Zyonne, Tyler, Honesty, Malachi, Ja’Yonna, Royality, Ja’Nilye, Ja’liayah; uncles, Freddy Conner, Tony Darden, Tony Bailey; aunts, Wanda and Bert; nieces, Angel, Destiny, De’Onjalae; nephews, Darryl, Jaion, Marquez, Eric; great nieces, Mar’Jae, Que’Dessa; great nephews, Mark-Anthony, Mace, Quinton, Sie’Que, Karter; special best friends forever, Tika “Tika Beka” Hall, Donna Smith; and a host of other dear relatives and friends.
She was a devoted daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, aunt, cousin and friend. She was the life of the party, she loved music and loved to dance, she loved being around people, never a dull moment. She had a HEART of GOLD.
