Sean C.L. Parks

Sean C. L. Parks, age 33, passed away unexpectedly on July 26, 2023, in Dublin, Ireland, where he was living out a lifelong dream of working and living abroad.  He was born January 11, 1990, in Dayton, Ohio.  Sean was a graduate of the University of Oklahoma (2012) and an employee of PluralSight.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Jason L. Parks; grandfather, Henry C. L. Parks.

Sean is survived by his devoted parents, Pastor Henry & Cheryl (Towns) Parks of Crowley, Texas; loving sisters -Ebony Parks (Beavercreek, OH), Mycael Parks (Houston, TX); grandparents - Anita Towns of West Chester, OH, Palmer (Tanya) Towns of Trotwood, OH, Ophelia (Herbert) Hyde of Dayton, OH; aunts - Tiffany (Jeff) Hall of West Chester, OH, Danielle Hyde of Dayton, OH, Kim (Robert) Newberry of Louisville, KY; uncles - James (Julie) Parks of Lovettesvile, Virginia, Mark (Monique) Parks of Columbia, MD, and a host of other relatives and friends

Sean’s personality was larger than life and all who knew him will miss his smile and infectious laugh that lit up every room. We will also miss seeing him to continue to live out his dreams and the positive impact he had on everyone around him.

Celebration of his life 11:30 am Friday, August 18, 2023, at Open Bible Christian Church, 4715 Burkhardt Avenue, Dayton, OH 45403. Visitation 10:00 am-11:30 am. Family will receive friends 10:30 am- 11:30 am. Arrangements entrusted to HOUSE OF WHEAT Funeral Home.
