Rosetta Rena’ Middlebrook departed this life on April 28, 2024, at her home with her loving family at her side. She was born on October 7, 1960, in Dayton Ohio to the late Mattie Wilkerson and Roosevelt Wilkerson. She married James Middlebrook on April 12,1986 and of this union, they were blessed with one daughter, Char-Da’ Rena’.
Rosetta accepted Christ at an early age, at the St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church.
Rosetta was a graduate of Dunbar High School, Class of 1979 and attended Sinclair Community College. She was employed with Key Bank and Chase Band prior to working at The Berry Company where she worked until its closing, as a Senior Production Clerk.
Rosetta will be missed dearly. She truly cherished her family. She was a devoted mother, wife, sister, auntie, and cousin. She was very supportive and loved family gatherings. She also loved and cherished her Berry family and the many friends she had. She looked forward to getting together with them, so that they could laugh, catch up and just have a good time.
Rosetta had a passion for plants, and she loved butterflies.
Preceding Rosetta in death was her mother, Mattie Wilkerson; father, Rooservelt Wilkerson Sr.; one sister, Doris (Roderick) Osborne; and two brothers, Leon Stanley and Roosevelt Wilkerson Jr.
Beautiful memories of Rosetta will be held deep within the hearts of her loving and devoted husband, James Middlebrook; precious daughter, Char-Da’ Middlebrook; three sisters, Andrea (Mitchell) Wilkerson-Turner, Gwendolyn (Ben) Johnson and Barbara Butler; three brothers, Jeffrey Wilkerson, Maurice (Brenna} Wilkerson and Larry (Brenda) Mead; mother-n-law, Mary Jo Holloman; four sisters-n-law, Vicky (Larry) Kidd, Jan White, Joy Evan and Crystal Pryor; a godson, Marquis Loritts; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
