Rose Lee Campbell was born on November 6, 1948 in Whitehall, Alabama to the late Lizzie Mock-Robinson and Dave Robinson Sr. She departed this life, Sunday, February 2, 2025. She was known for her kind heart, unwavering faith, and the love she poured into her family. She was the root of the tree that kept the family strong. She graduated from Stamford High School and worked as a secretary for many years before becoming a dedicated housewife and grandmother. Rose Lee was a devoted Baptist who touched many lives and would readily take in a stranger.
In addition to her parents, she also was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Campbell Sr.; siblings Kathern, Dave Jr., A.C., John, Adell and Hessie.
She leaves behind a legacy of love cherished by her children: Wanda Robinson-Dix (Keith), Stacey Robinson (Tippany), Patricia Campbell, Rose Ella Campbell, Charles May Campbell (Melanie) and Alicia Campbell.
Also mourning her loss, her sister, Huzell who resides in Bridgeport, Connecticut; her grandchildren, Cherrelle Oliver (David), Tyerrelle Robinson Sr. (Ciera Peters), Asia McWhorter, Stashaun Tuck (George), Lachatete Walls, Tyerrick Campbell (Ruby Gray), Darrisha Walls, Chrisesha Wilson, Derrick Allen, Lelani Clark, Charkay Allen (Totsianna), JaShon Robinson, Kharrisha Campbell, Eddievon Allen, Jeffery Hoskins, Charles Campbell III, Charles Campbell Allen and Kharrheed Campbell; 31 great-grandchildren whom she loved dearly. Last but not least, her special "ride or die," niece, Alease Kennedy; a host of other family and friends.
Funeral service 1 pm Monday, February 10, 2025 at House of Wheat Funeral Home, 2107 N. Gettysburg Ave., Dayton, OH. Visitation 10 am- 1 pm. Family will receive friends 12 pm- 1 pm. Interment Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, Blenheim, SC.
