Rosalind A. Lawrence

Rosalind Arnett Lawrence, age 38, born September 10, 1982 in Dayton, Ohio to Cleveland K. Shannon (biological father), departed this life Monday, August 16, 2021.

With loving arms and an open heart, she was adopted by Brenda Joyce Lawrence at the tender age of 3 years old.

Rosalind attended Wayne High School in Huber Heights, Ohio.

Rosalind accepted Christ at an early age at City of Victory Church in Dayton.

Rosalind loved her family and friends unconditionally.

Rosalind was preceded in death by her mother, Brenda J. Lawrence; father, Cleveland K. Shannon; grandparents, Elder Adell and Sarah Lawrence; aunt, Alesia Lawrence; uncle, Virgil Trammell; Godsisters, LaDonna Jones and Brittany Lash.

Left to cherish her precious memories: her companion for over 20 years, Gregory Lathan; children, Rhayi’a Lawrence-Smith, Perrius Lawrence, Parris Lawrence, Raven, Promiss, Rain and Royalty Lathan; sisters, Shawanda (Will) Smith, Rebecca Shannon, LaTonya Smart, Asia Lawrence; aunts and uncles: Lillie Marie Coleman, Gloria Berry, Ronald Berry, Denise Lawrence, Adell and Angela Lawrence; special cousins, Antwan, Katie and Nielah Lawrence; Godsister, Beatrice Keeton; Godparents, Bishop William and 1^st Lady Kendall Lash; special friend, Robyn Lee; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Service will be held 12 noon Friday, August 27, at Restoration Church of Jesus Christ, 904 Vernon Dr. Visitation 11 am-12 pm. Interment Woodland Cemetery.
