Robert Todd Stiles Jr. "Robbie", age 59, of Dayton, passed away Friday, April 29, 2022, at Vienna Springs Health Care Campus during a long battle with cancer.
Rob was a 1981 graduate of Nettie Lee Roth High School. He began early in life with a career in management where he worked at the Great Steak and Fry Company in the Dayton Arcade, then later, to train employees at a franchise store in Atlanta, Georgia. He was also employed at Whirlpool Corporation. After returning to Dayton, he created his own business TBCS Cleaning Services specializing in waxing hardwood floors.
Robert was also employed at Antioch College in Yellow Springs, OH for numerous years, and at Zik’s Pharmacy.
Robert loved fishing, mind-blowing card tricks, grilling ribs, and hanging out with family and friends. His #1 passion was music, playing lead guitar which led him to his band, "Audio Show Band", with many performances throughout the Dayton area, and occasionally playing with the band "THE SON OF SLAVE" in which they traveled to numerous states for performances. He also opened up shows for Lakeside, The SOS Band, Trouble Funk, Phyllis Hyman and Zapp. With Cameo being his favorite ideal.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Ann Stiles.
He is survived by his father, Robert Todd Stiles Sr.; sisters, Sharon Elaine Stiles, Kimberly Ann Stiles and Rachelle Lynn (Walter lll) Vaught, all of Dayton; sons, Robert Todd Stiles lll, Branden Micheal Stiles of Phoenix, AZ, Christopher Todd Stiles of Desoto, TX, Ra'sean Terrell Stiles of Denver, CO; granddaughters, Yviayanna Michelle and Brey'el Adore Stiles of Phoenix, AZ; nephew, Montrel Carson of Charlotte, NC; niece, Zaria Carson; Harold “Uncle Bubby” (Barbara) Stiles of Los Angeles, CA; a host of aunts, uncles, numerous cousins, and dear friends, Leonard Maxwell, Dave McDougal; special cousins, Kenneth Crawl and Jeffrey Scurry.
Walk-through visitation 10 am-12 noon Friday, May 13, at House of Wheat Funeral Home, Inc., 2107 N. Gettysburg Ave. Funeral service will be held at 12 noon. (Mask Required). Interment Shiloh Park Cemetery.
