Robert Smith Jr. "Bullface", age 71, of Dayton, Ohio, passed away Saturday May 20, 2023. Robert was born on April 12, 1952, in Minter City, MS.  He later relocated to Dayton, OH in 1955. He served in the United States Marine Corps.

Preceding in death by parents, Robert Smith Sr., and Luella Bernice Smith; wife, Bernice Smith; brothers, Nathaniel Turner, Capus Davis, Billy Smith; sisters, Juanita Jackson, Mary Ann Jackson.

 He leaves to cherish his memory children, Verinda Pulliam of Dayton, OH, Robert Smith III of Indiana, Samuel Smith Sr. (Tonya) of Dayton, OH, David McElrath Sr. of Dayton, OH; siblings, Raymond Smith Sr. of Dayton, OH, Tonnie Smith of Temper, TX, Howard Smith of Clarksville, TN, Betty Smith of Greenwood, MS, Grace Smith (Lee) of Greenwood, MS, Linda Smith-Hawkins (Raymond) of Walls, MS, Patricia Moore of Dayton, OH; nephews, Tony Turner Sr. (Myra) of Charlotte, NC, Roger Lee Smith (Paula) of Dayton, OH. M.L. Curtis Sr. of Dayton, OH, Vivien Patterson (Layne), Quinten Turner, Gwendolyn Turner all of Fort Wayne, IN, Charles Curtis Sr. of Dayton, OH; special friend, Trina Perdue of Lexington Ky; longtime friends, Terry McLemore and Tony Wilson both of Dayton, OH, Elvera Heard of Huntsville, AL; brothers-in-law, Rev. Special thanks to the staff of Riverside Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and Hospice of Dayton for the care that was given to our loved one.

Funeral service 12 pm Wednesday, May 31, 2023, at House of Wheat Funeral Home, 2107 N. Gettysburg Ave, Dayton, OH. Visitation 10 am- 12 pm. Family will receive friends 11 am-12 pm. (Mask Required). Interment 9 am Thursday, June 1st at Dayton National Cemetery.
