Robert T. Robinson

Robert Terron Robinson, born July 10,1970 in Dayton, Ohio to Betty Jean Robinson and Robert Robinson, and raised in Orange, New Jersey by Jackie Holmes Sr. and Betty Jean Robinson, passed away Tuesday, March 16, 2021.

Robert accepted the Lord at an early age and loved singing in the choir as a child. He was an outstanding athlete and the “dancer” of the family. Three of Robert’s proudest moments were the birth of his children, Terron and Catherine, and godson, Aaron Olive.

Robert loved his family and his community. There was nothing too big or small he would not do to aid someone in need, from running errands for a neighbor to dancing with a family member during a family function. His heart stretched for miles and miles, and his smile illuminated the darkest places.

He is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Moses Robinson Sr. and Amos Robinson; grandmothers, Hazel Tate and Queen Esther Johnson; uncles, Larry Robinson and Lason Mitchell; cousins, Christopher Robinson, Curtis Robinson and Jason Robinson.

Robert is survived by his parents, Betty Jean and Robert Robinson and Jackie Holmes Sr.; wife Jacqueline Robinson; children, Terron Holmes and Catherine Robinson, Aaron Olive; brothers and sisters, Cheri Holmes, Jackie Holmes Jr. (Kimberly), Canilla Colbert, Hope Chandler (Milton), Nikki Robinson, Jarelle Robinson, Janelle Robinson, Izel Brown and Jordan Artist; grandmother, Chanie Robinson; only great nephew, Deaunta Bennett; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be held 11 am Friday, March 26, at Revival Center Ministries, 3011 Oakridge Dr. Visitation 9-11 am. Family will receive friends 10-11 am. Interment West Memory Gardens. Arrangements entrusted to House of Wheat Funeral Home, Inc.
