Robbie Alice Lennon

Robbie Alice Metcalf Lennon, age 87, of Dayton, Ohio, was born on November 10, 1938, in Detroit, Alabama. Robbie wore many hats throughout her life—as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She touched the lives of all who knew her through her love, kindness, and wonderful sense of humor. 

Robbie was a graduate of Ada Hanna High School. She retired from the Dayton Mental Health Center after 25 years of dedicated service. She loved the Lord and faithfully served as a devoted member of God's Lighthouse Community Church, where she served on the Mother's Board. 

On Wednesday, June 10, 2026, Robbie was called home to be with the Lord. She was preceded in death by her parents, Crawford and Catherine Metcalf; seven sisters; four brothers; and her beloved husband, Andrew Lennon. 

Robbie leaves to cherish her memory her four children: Sharon Calhoun, Art (Heather) Lennon, Alan (Elizabeth) Lennon, and Shelitha Lennon; her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; her sister, Christine Metcalf Crump; her brother-in-law, Charlie Hollis; and a host of nieces, nephews, other loving family members, and dear friends. 

Robbie's legacy of faith, compassion, and unwavering love for her family will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.

Funeral Service 11 am Monday, June 22, 2026 at God's Lighthouse Community Church, 4105 Annapolis Ave., Dayton, OH. Visitation 10 am- 11 am at which time family will receive friends. Interment West Memory Gardens. Arrangements entrusted to House of Wheat Funeral Home.
