Patricia Ann Frierson

Patricia (Pat) Frierson, age 91, departed this life, on May 4th, 2026. Born in Dayton, Ohio to the late William and Ruth Hill.

Preceded in death by her dear husband James Frierson of 41 years and beloved son James Jr. (Duke).

Pat was a dedicated wife, mother, grandma, sister, aunt, and friend.

She attended Dayton Public Schools and Graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1952, and attended the University of Dayton. She worked at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base for 36 years.

Patricia attended Mt. Olive Church where she gave her life to Christ and then transitioned to Shiloh Baptist Church for 40+ years serving on the Usher Board.

Pat enjoyed retirement she traveled, her favorites hobbies were reading, swimming, and watching the game show network daily.  

Survived by her devoted son William T. (Kimberly), granddaughter Kyana and brother, Joe Hill. Her sisters-in-law Marilyn Hill, Gloria Hill, Sara Wright, Delores Frierson and Angela Frierson and a host of nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her siblings: Janet Howard-Mullins, David Hill, Fred Hill, Blanche Horne, George Hill, Elizabeth (Lizzie) Redmond.

Funeral Service 11 am Friday, May 29, 2026 at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, 3801 Fairbanks Ave., Dayton, OH. Visitation 10 am- 11 am at which time family will receive friends. Dr. Marcettes Cunningham Pastor; Pastor Leslie Stratton officiating. Interment Dayton National Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to House of Wheat Funeral Home.
