Norris Smith Jr.

Norris Smith Jr., age 74, was born June 7, 1950 to the late Norris W. and Louis Smith in Dayton, OH.  He transitioned peacefully on Friday November 29, 2024 after a sudden illness.  Norris graduated class of 1969 from Roosevelt High School.

Norris’s faith journey began at an early age when he confessed his belief in Christ.  In his adult years he found spiritual fulfillment as a dedicated member of Shiloh Baptist Church singing in the choir.  Norris was currently a member of Fellowship Missionaryy Baptist Church where he served as an usher.

Norris was a beloved brother and uncle. He would do anything for his devoted sister Kattia Landers, nieces, and nephews.

Funeral service 11 am Saturday, December 7, 2024 at House of Wheat Funeral Home, 2107 N. Gettysburg Ave., Dayton, OH. Visitation 9 am- 11 am. Family will receive friends 10 am- 11 am. Interment Shiloh Park Cemetery.
