Nathaniel “Nate” Miles Stewart, age 56, born August 20, 1964 in Dayton, Ohio, made his transition into eternal peace Thursday, January 21, 2021.

He was preceded in death by parents, Flossie Stewart and Cleve Grigsby; daughter, Lanisha “Pooh” Brookins; siblings, Betty Jean Stallings, Jimmy Stewart, Tracy Stewart, Stanley Stewart Sr. and Thennie (Jay) Stewart.

He leaves to honor his memory, Georgia and Alvin Stewart; Tracy Smith (fiancée); sisters, Patricia Shepherd, Jewel Mallory, Tilda (Vincent) Stewart, Dorothy (Willie) Taylor; sons, Brandon (Taniesha) Payton, Nathaniel (Rhea) Thompson, and Terrence (Tymika) Thompson; grandchildren, Xavier, Lanisha, Amara, Mali Thompson and Harmony Smith; nieces, Rodnika Stallings and Reneaka Shelton; special family and friends, Lattifiah Suzuki, Michael Steward, Darnell Conners, Jeff Lewis, Marrico (Kenya) Murray, Quinn Stewart, Kevin Steward, Fred Armstrong, JaMichael Stallings, James Simmons, Curtis Cooper, Demetrius Smith, Keith Hargrove, Stephen Robinson, Tony Miliner, Randall Lucas, the Grigsby and Payne families.

Walk-through visitation 9-11 am Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at the House of Wheat Funeral Home, Inc., 2107 N. Gettysburg Ave. Private Service. Interment West Memory Gardens.
