Natasha Sanders Obituary

Natasha Dechell Sanders passed away January 9, 2022, in Dayton, Ohio, after a short illness.

Natasha had a smile that would light up a room and a laugh that was infectious, her gracefulness was classic, she was caring and a nurturer. She was a compilation of every woman in our family being the first grandchild and the first niece and yes, she was spoiled. She got her fire from her grandmother, Ruby Morrow, her laughter from her mother, her love of family from Kathy Young, and her fun side from Cindy and Robin Morrow. Once you met and talked to Natasha you fell in love with her personality, and you knew you had someone to count on as a friend and a confidant who would not sugar coat her loving advice.

She enjoyed creating, planning, and organizing. She made blankets for each child that came into her life. Her love for her nieces and nephews was epic and they all knew they all were her favorite.

Her greatest joy entered her life on June 6, 2020, by the name of Carter Devon Simmons. He filled everyday with joy. She also had the pleasure of being entrusted to raise and love her sister, Tasha Denise Watkins and two daughters, Timese Watkins and TNiah Watkins.

Natasha is survived by her parents, Angela and Michael Hickmon, William Sanders Sr.; brothers, William Lamar Sanders (Lucuria), Michael Anthony Hickmon (Labrenda), William Douglas Sanders Jr. (Venus), Michael Ramirez; sisters, Erika Sanders, Vanessa Ramirez; special uncles, Timothy Morrow, Andrew Morrow, Nathaniel Young and Donnie Hines; special aunties, Kathy Young, Cindy Morrow, Robin Morrow, Shirley Hines and Michelle James; close cousin, Nathaniel Young Jr.; a small army of nieces and nephews, other loving aunts and uncles. She will truly be missed. We look forward to seeing her in the resurrection. Until then, we will cherish the many memories that Natasha has provided all.

A special thanks to Anthony Martin.
