Mildred E. Hargrove

Mildred E. Hargrove, age 72, born February 5, 1948 in Brevard, NC, departed this life unexpectedly Sunday, January 24, 2021 at her residence. She came to Dayton at an early age. She attended Roosevelt High School.

Mildred was preceded in death by her husband of 34 years, Christopher “C.C.” Hargrove; parents, John and Susie Erwin; son, Mark Erwin; sister, Gladys Kilgore; brother, John Erwin; father-in-law, Christopher Hargrove, Sr.; brothers-in-law, William and Larry Hargrove.

She will be truly missed by her children, Yvonne Norvell, devoted son Christopher Norvell, devoted daughter Crystal Norvell, Shanta Norvell; sister, Maratha Erwin; brother, Donald Erwin; mother-in-law, Marion Hargrove; 13 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren; devoted granddaughters, Angel Norvell and Destiny Norvell, who provided care for her during her illness; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be held 11 am Wednesday, February 3, at Holy Temple Church of God, 489 S. Broadway St., Trotwood, Ohio. Visitation 10 am-11 am. Interment West Memory Gardens. Arrangements entrusted to House of Wheat Funeral Home, Inc.
