Michael Brendan Lewis Harrison Jr. was born on February 25, 1999 to Michael Harrison Sr. and Tamika (Woodruff) Hobson in Dayton, Ohio. He departed this life Thursday, January 1, 2026.
He attended Meadowdale High School where he played basketball. He also played football for the Dayton Red Hawks. He was born again into the family of God on August 30, 2020. Michael was a great son and a great father who adored his little girls. He was a family-oriented man, a sports enthusiast, and an outgoing people person with a great sense of humor. Michael was a favorite brother, grandson, nephew, and cousin. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to others. He was lovable with a great personality and he will be greatly missed by many.
Preceded in death by his uncles, Lewis Andre Woodruff and Matthew Harrison; cousins, Brandon Woodruff and Charles Curtis; grandfather, Gerald Harrison Sr.; great grandfather, Lucius Woodruff; great grandmother, Daisy Woodruff.
Left to cherish his memories: mother, Tamika (Edwin) Hobson; father, Michael Harrison Sr.; children, Lynnox Harrison, Tru Harrison; mother of children, Taylor Simpson; brothers, Mekhi Harrison, My’Kel Harrison, Jatoin Jackson, My’Kee Harrison, My’Kwon Harrison, Prafytt Harrison; sisters, Honesty Kirk and My’Kia Harrison; maternal grandmother, Charlotte Prater; paternal grandmother, Vickie Harrison; paternal grandfather, Andrew Woodruff; aunts, Rosalyn Prater, Diahnna Caldwell, Nichelle Caldwell, Andrea Woodruff; a host of other uncles, aunts, cousins, family and close friends.
Funeral Service 10 am Friday, January 9, 2026 at Residence Park Church of Christ, 4328 Hoover Ave., Dayton, OH. Visitation 9 am- 10 am at which time family will receive friends. Interment West Memory Gardens. Arrangements entrusted to House of Wheat Funeral Home.
