Mary Louise Wilson

Mary Louise (McKinney) Wilson, age 79, born June 28, 1940 in Sylacauga, AL, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, November 19, 2019. Mary was a giver and had a heart of gold. Her pride and joy were her family. She was loved by all who knew her. She will be greatly missed.

She is preceded in death by her father, John Louis McKinney and mother, Polly Mae Fuller.

Mary is survived by her husband of 59 years, Edward T. Wilson; children, Mark Wilson of Wiesbaden West Germany, Stephanie (Stewart) Halfacre of Dayton, Elizabeth (Stan) Crawford of Selma, AL, David (Nina) Wilson of Dayton, Stephen Wilson of Dayton, Karen Wilson-Houston of Tampa, FL, and her bonus child, Leonard Wilson of Dayton; brother, Jonathan McKinney (Wanda), and sister, Martha Brooks (Claud). She was an affectionate grandmother to 13 grandchildren, Wendell (Earlisha) Scott, Jason (Joneece) Arnold, Jaime Ridley, Akiya Halfacre, Tamara Wilson, Taja (Mario) Drake, Eric Wilson, Stephen Wilson Jr., Timothy Wilson, Brittany Wilson, Veronica Halfacre, Victoria Halfacre, and Aaron Houston Jr. She was a doting great grandmother to 10 great-grandchildren, Ja’Niyah Norman, Ja’yiona Fisher, Taisha Drake, Mario Drake Jr., Wendell Scott Jr., Harvey Ridley III, Harper Ridley, Aaron Scott, Antwan Tucker, and Tiera Wilson-Middlebrook.

Service will be held 1 pm Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at Faith Deliverance Church of God in Christ, 450 Turner Rd. Visitation 10 am at the church until time of service. Family will receive friends one hour prior to service.
