Margaret A. Floyd

Mrs. Margaret Ann Floyd, age 83, of Dayton, Ohio went to be with her loving husband and son on Monday, March 9, 2026 in Tavares, Florida. Margaret was born on November 15, 1942 to the late Homer and Hazel Hill.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband, Tommy Floyd Sr.; son, Timothy Floyd; brother, Marvin McGlothen; sister, Cora Poff.

Margaret leaves to cherish her memory, her loving and devoted sons, Tommy Jr. and Myron Floyd; sister, Carol Hamm; daughters-in-law, Gloria, Angelina, and Jackie Floyd; loving grandchildren, Timesha, Maximillion, Isaac, Destiny, Mandel, Chayce Floyd, LaShonda Gullette, and Matia Terrell; 9 great grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends including special friends, Mary and Sherman Cooley; special thank you to nurse’s aide, Sheri Jackson, for her loving care of our mother.

Mom and Mamaw was a very loving and caring person who had several bonus children who loved her dearly. She will be absolutely missed by all of her loving family members and friends.

Funeral Service 12 pm Friday, March 20, 2026 at House of Wheat Funeral Home, 2107 N. Gettysburg Ave. Dayton, OH. Visitation 10 am- 12 pm. Family will receive friends 10:30 am- 12 pm. Interment Shiloh Park Cemetery.
