Lucretia (Bolivar) Coldly, age 78, born in Dayton Ohio on January 16,1944 to the late Alanzo and Willa Mae Bolivar; departed to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 16, 2022. She was a graduate of Roosevelt High School in Dayton Ohio. She was employed as a secretary at WPAFB and Hawes Realty. Lucretia was well-loved by all who knew her. She loved her family and friends. She loved cooking, traveling and crossword puzzles.
Preceded in death by her parents; grandparents, Joseph and Eva Dansby, Allen and Jesse Dunlap; aunts, Ruth Jackson, Geneva Selmon, Norma Jean Farley; uncle, Warner Dansby; sister, Vanzellia Jonson; grandson, Ross Clark; nephew, Ronald L. Bass Jr.; significant other, Quinn Capers.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories sons, Carlton L. Bolivar, Willie James (LaTisha) Coldly Jr.; grandson Carlton Brown; great granddaughter Ciara; sister, Cynthia Bass; nieces, Joan Crawford, Ebony D. Bass; nephews, Alanzo and Terrence Bass; a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation 10am-12 noon Friday, November 25, at House of Wheat Funeral Home, Inc., 2107 N. Gettysburg Avenue, Dayton, Oh. Family will receive friends 11am-12 noon. Funeral service at 12 noon. (Mask Required).
