Leonard Edward Richardson Sr.

Leonard Edward Richardson Sr., went home to be with our Lord on Wednesday, January 21, 2026 at Hospice of Dayton.  Leonard graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in Beckley, WV. He retired from GM Truck and Bus after 30 years of service.

Leonard was preceded in death by his parents, David Sr. and Evelyn Richardson; brothers, Willie (Donna) Richardson, Johnnie (Starr) Richardson, and David Richardson Jr.

Left to cherish his memories wife, Gwen C. Richardson of Huber Heights, OH; daughter, Shantrice M. Richardson of Huber Heights, OH; son, Leonard E. Richardson Jr., of Dayton, OH; sisters, Carolyn Richardson of Cleveland, OH, Betty J. Pemberton of Beckley WV, and Evelyn Richardson of Raleigh, WV; brothers, Alfonza Richardson of Dayton, OH and Paul Russell (Nettie) Richardson of Mt. Hope, WV; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Funeral Service 11 am Thursday, January 29, 2026 at Shiloh Baptist Church, 3801 Fairbanks Ave., Dayton, OH. Visitation 10 am- 11 am at which time family will receive friends. Entombment Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Prosperity, West Virginia. Arrangements entrusted to House of Wheat Funeral Home.
