Leonard V. Harris

HARRIS, Mr. Leonard V., age 76, of Dayton, went to be with the Lord Sunday, April 21, 2019. He was born June 19, 1942 in Atlanta, Georgia and a Dayton resident for the majority of his life. He retired from Kastle Electric Company of Dayton.

Preceded in death by his mother, Geraldine Rowe; brother, Richard Harris; wife, Canary Harris. He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Gregory (Tonja) Dixie of Trotwood, OH, Lewis (Thomasine) Dotson of Woodbridge, VA, Leonard Harris Jr. of Phoenix, AZ, Leonard Dotson of Cincinnati, OH, Anthony Harris of Dayton, Phyllis Carter of Dallas, TX, Geraldine Hill of Beaumont, CA, Tereasia Harris of Vandalia, OH, Richard (Tracey) Harris of Chandler, AZ, Michael (Kristen) Harris of Chandler, AZ; 29 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and devoted friend, Mr. Thomas Coton.

Funeral service will be held 11 am Saturday, May 4, 2019 at the House of Wheat Funeral Home, Inc., 2107 N. Gettysburg Ave. Rev. Dionne McDole officiating. Visitation 9 am at the funeral home until time of service. Family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Interment Greencastle Cemetery.
