Lebra Dozier

Ms. Lebra Dozier, age 86, of Dayton, Ohio, born June 12, 1935, the Lord called her home on May 12, 2022, at Kettering Medical Center.

Lebra enjoyed being a foster grandparent and working at the Miami Valley Child Development Center. She was known as “Grandma” to many. She enjoyed spending time with her family and could light up the room with her distinct demeanor and bright smile. Our mother taught us to possess a strong foundation of family and the importance of remaining strong during challenging times.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John W. and Oddie E. Robertson; her sister, Martha E. Rice; a beloved brother, John W. Robertson; two loving sons, Rolfe Vino Dozier and Shateau Kolan Dozier.

Lebra leaves to cherish her memory, six children:  four daughters and two sons,  Tajauna (Pixie) Rice, Oquinne (Rass) Robertson, Ellen Coco (Michael) George of Dayton, Ohio, Amahl Dozier of Troy, Ohio, Dawn (Lyze) Dozier of Columbus, Ohio and Salome Dozier of Dayton, Ohio; grandchildren,  Sharon Rice, Oquinnette (Tennie) Robertson, Yohona (Yo-Yo) Dozier, Donte (Taniqua) Crawford, Alon Robertson of Dayton, Ohio, Akosha Robertson and Arrion (Charlene) Robertson of Houston, Texas; nephews, Kevin Jones and Kerwince (Veronica) Jones of Columbus, Ohio; special cousins, Donald Robertson and Amber Tanner; a host of great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, great-great-great grandchildren, and cousins and friends who loved and cherished her...she will be missed!

Walk-through visitation 10 am-11 am Thursday, May 19, at the House of Wheat Funeral Home, Inc., 2107 N. Gettysburg Ave. Funeral service at 11 am. (Mask Required). Interment Woodland Cemetery.
