Lawrence Ogletree

Mr. Lawrence Ogletree, age 97, of Dayton, Ohio, was born November 12, 1928 to the union of the late Mallalieu & Annie Ogletree. He departed this life on Sunday, November 30, 2025 at Kettering Hospital-Main Campus.

A retired employee of Harrison Radiator after 43 years of service. A member of the Dunbar High School Hall of Fame for track and football, The Dukes Club of Dayton and the Guys and Gals Club.

Preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Walter Ogletree, M. Allen Ogletree, Jacob Ogletree; sister Signora Cowens.

He leaves to mourn sons, Larry W Ogletree of Columbus, Dale E. (Sheila) Ogletree of Dayton, Steven L. (Mary) Williams of Novi MI, Roy W (Tracey) Ogletree; daughters, Donna Harper and Jacqueline Ogletree both of Dayton; nephews, Ronald Ogletree, Lawrence Ogletree both of Dayton; special friend Jackie Montgomery; grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Funeral Service 11 am Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at House of Wheat Funeral Home, 2107 N. Gettysburg Ave., Dayton, OH. Visitation 9 am- 11 am. Family will receive friends 10 am- 11 am. Interment Woodland Cemetery.
