Laurence E. Davis

LAURENCE E. DAVIS “Larri”, was born on June 10, 1963 in Dayton, Ohio, to parents Leroy and Lena Davis.

     An avid lover of music, communications specialist, social media influencer, humorist, very vocal political enthusiast, loved his family history and an all-around dashing man!

     He accepted our Lord and Savior at an early age at Mt. Olive Baptist Church, under Rev. D.W. McFarland. He attended Roth High School and graduated from Meadowdale High School, Class of 1981. He then attended Ohio State University, and served in the Army Reserves.

     He moved to Birmingham, Alabama and lived there for 17 years, where he made lifelong friends. He then moved to Reynoldsburg, Ohio in 2010, employed by Discover Financial Services, New Albany, Ohio. He worked there for 10 years.

     He was preceded in death by his parents, Leroy and Lena Davis.

     He leaves to celebrate his life, his devoted wife, Dorian R. Clark-Davis; his children, Jordan Davis and Laci Davis; bonus children, Keara Heard and Iyanla Williams; sister, Lorna Davis; fur babies, Romi and Ms. Gem; father- and mother-in-law, Melvin and Lear “Shirley” Clark; brother-in-law, Brian (Angela) Clark; special friends, Shonda Johnson, Athan Coffey and Oscar Pittman; the Brown/Lauderdale Family; the New Fellowship Baptist Church-City of Change Family; Discover Financial Services Family; a host nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
