LaTrice Lynette Reynolds-DeWitt, age 56, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, February 12, 2025. A lifelong resident of Dayton, Ohio, LaTrice graduated from Meadowdale High school and retired from Delphi Kettering. At a young age she accepted Christ at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church and often worshiped at St. Benedict the Moor and The Way of The Cross Gospel Ministries. One of her greatest joys was spending time with family and friends.
Preceded in death by husband, Alan DeWitt; son, Chad DeWitt; daughter, Alexis DeWitt; fathers, Earnest Reynolds and Jamie Skelton; father-in-law, Donald DeWitt; grandparents, Roger and Juanita Botts; grandmother-in-law, Geraldine Moran; and uncle, Calvin Botts.
LaTrice’s memory will be cherished by beloved mother, Shirley Skelton; mother in-law, Rosalyn DeWitt; aunt, Patricia Butler; sister, Tara Skelton; brother, Jamie Skelton Jr.; granddaughter, Chadsity DeWitt; grandson, Noah Everhart-Miller, and Goddaughters, Grace Harwin and Kateland Heard.
LaTrice will be greatly missed by her cousins, Jerry and LaKeisha Washington, Stacey and Shawnte’ Benson, Larry Flowers, Tawana Webb; close friends, Rhonda Byrd and Rhonda Chiverse; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Funeral service 11 am Saturday, March 1, 2025 at House of Wheat Funeral Home, 2107 N. Gettysburg Ave., Dayton, OH. Visitation 9 am- 11 am. Family will receive friends 10 am- 11 am. Interment West Memory Gardens.
