Kevin Eugene Wilson, also known as Kevy Gene, blessed this world with his presence on July 22, 1956. He departed this world on Thursday, February 6, 2025.
Born in Dayton, Ohio, Kevin graduated from Roosevelt High School. Kevin was a family-oriented person. Kevin was a devoted son, a loving brother, his “brother’s keeper,” an amazing father, a true friend, a role model, and a man who is going to tell you how he feels. Not to forget, he was the Number 1 Steelers Fan in the world.
Kevin has always been known for his loving and welcoming spirit, but also known for telling you when a person is wrong; it is for that reason that he remained blessed throughout a very fulfilled life.
Preceded in death by his mother, Margaret J. Wilson; brothers, Frank M. and Keith E. Wilson; uncle, Bobby Wilson.
Kevin leaves to cherish his memories and to carry his legacy, his children, Chivas Wilson, Chaun Wilson; sister, Margo Harris; cousin David Wilson; grandchildren, Cherish Wilson, Nyah Wilson, Kirsten Wilson, Ava Wilson, Memphis K. Wilson, Musiq Wilson; a host of nieces, cousins, nephews, and close friends who feel more like family.
Funeral service 1 pm Thursday, February 20, 2025 at House of Wheat Funeral Home, 2107 N. Gettysburg Ave., Dayton, OH. Visitation 11 am- 1 pm. Family will receive friends 12 pm- 1 pm.
