Kenneth Watson, age 71, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 4, 2025. He was born to the late Olden Watson and Lucille Watson on November 4, 1953.
He loved the Lord and gave his life to Him at an early age. Kenneth was a graduate of Roosevelt High School. He retired from Heidelberg Finishing after 30 years of dedicated service.
Kenny loved his family deeply. Although he didn’t always show it in words, he had a way of making his loved ones feel his love. He was content simply sitting at home in his kitchen with Pat by his side, watching his Western reruns. He was happy if Pat was happy.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Olden “PeeWee” Watson; sisters, Joan Snowden, Sheila Watson, Rita Watson; grandson, DeJuan Hooker.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 55 years, Patricia “Pat” Watson; son, Kenneth E. Watson Jr.; daughters, Nichole Roberts (Aaron), Keni Bailey (John); grandchildren, Briana, LaDasha, Kenia, Kierra, Duane, Karizma, Graycelynn; 10 great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Gail Harris, who has been Pat’s rock; lifelong friend, Russell Anderson; his special niece, Seeta Watson along with a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Kenneth will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His legacy of love, laughter, and quiet strength will live on in the hearts of those he touched.
