Kathleen Yancey Patton

Kathleen Y. Patton, age 90, was born on January 12, 1935 in Somerset, Kentucky to the late Sherman and Dora Yancey.  She departed this life Tuesday, September 9, 2025 at Kettering Hospice.

Kathleen was a retired employee of GM Truck and Bus in Moraine. She was also a member of Phillips Temple CME Church.

In addition to her parents, Kathleen was preceded in death by her husband, Emmit L. Patton; sister, Elizabeth Lightfoot; brothers, Luther, George, and Robert Yancey.

Kathleen leaves to cherish her memory 2 daughters, Marcia N. Blount and Tonya E. Patton; grandson, Reginald E. Blount; great grandchildren, Kylee and Reginald Jr.; a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Service 11 am Tuesday, September 23, 2025 at Phillips Temple Church, 3620 Shiloh Springs Rd., Trotwood, OH. Visitation 10 am- 11 am at which time family will receive friends. Interment West Memory Gardens. Arrangements entrusted to House of Wheat Funeral Home.
