Karen Michelle Davis

Karen Michelle Davis, age 78 , passed away peacefully on Friday, November 25,2022, at Brookhaven Rehabilitation Center.  Karen was born on September 10, 1944, in Dayton Ohio to Jerry and Rosalie Giles. Karen was a 1962 graduate of Roosevelt High School and had attended Central State University.    Karen retired for Montgomery County Children Services with 30 years of service.  

Karen was proceeded in death by her parents, Jerry and Rosalie Giles; husband, Reverend Clarence Davis Sr; brother, Thomas Giles; Sister, Geraldine Giles.

Karen leaves to cherish her memories her loving daughter, Phonda Gamble, Englewood Ohio; Son, John (Jill) Cromer of Columbus Ohio; grandchildren,Natasha (Drico) Howard of Houston Texas, Briauna (Shane) Fultz of Columbus Ohio, Bryce (Samy) Cromer of Columbus, Ohio, Alonzo Gamble of Englewood, Ohio; great- grand child Falynn Howard of Houston Texas. Devoted friends Jo Vandiver, Alicia Linton, Priscilla Giles of  Marietta Georgia, Teresa Giles of Marietta Georgia, and her companion, Mikkie.  Karen is survived by a host of nieces, cousins, nephew, and friends.  

Visitation 10am-11am Monday, December 5, at Shiloh Baptist Church, 3801 Fairbanks Avenue, Dayton Ohio. Funeral service at 11am. Reverend Marcettes L. Cunningham officiating.  Special thanks to the staff of Ohio Hospice of Dayton and the nurses and aids at Brookhaven Rehabilitation Center.
