John D. Pinson III was born to Eudora and John Pinson Jr. on September 18,1949, in Newnan, Georgia. He departed this life Friday, September 13, 2024, at Miami Valley South in Centerville, Ohio. He was a graduate of Roosevelt High School, Class of 1967 and retired from General Motors (DMAX Ltd.) in 2008.
John is proceeded in death by his father, John Pinson Jr; mother, Eudora Pinson; wife, Robin Pinson; two sisters, Annie Pooler and Clara Pinson; brother Earl Pinson; and niece Sherise Malone.
He leaves to cherish memories his loving sisters Gennise Pinson of Hogansville, GA and Deborah Lowe (Dennis) of Duluth, GA; three children, John Richardson, Crystal Pinson-English (Morris) and Breonna Pinson all of Dayton, OH; two granddaughters, Arieonna Dancy and Deja English; two great-granddaughters Aria Aninagyei and Lay’onni Lane and great-grandson Layden Lane all of Dayton, OH; special brothers Richard Brooks, TC Sumlin and James Huff; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral service 9:30 am Tuesday, September 24, 2024 at House of Wheat Funeral Home, 2107 N. Gettysburg Ave., Dayton, OH. Visitation 8:30 am at which time family will receive friends. Interment Dayton National Cemetery.
