John I. Favors, age 37, of Dayton, passed away Tuesday, July 16, 2024. John was born August 18, 1986, in Dayton, Ohio at Miami Valley Hospital to Stephanie L. Favors (Kevin Jones “Pops”). John was an admired entrepreneur, with many business interests across the country. John was a Freemason that designed and created Masonic Regalia, a real estate owner and businessman. John was also a cancer survivor. While going through treatment, John still found the time to encourage, support and check on others that he held dear to him.
John is a 100% family man. He has always had a heart of giving and loyalty. Not just for his family, but the ones he held in high regard. He showed this by taking care of his uncles in their ailments, other people going through cancer treatment, and people who were just going through the trials of life. He called so many people just to check up on them and to let them know he cares. John was the best person to call in a crisis, the best person to call to celebrate, and the best person to call to just spend time with.
Even in John’s shortened life, he became more than what he started out to be. John grew to become an honorable, respectable, God-fearing man. He made such an impact on all who came into his presence. John was an amazing son, brother, nephew, father, uncle, fiancé, and friend. He will be missed beyond measure and forever remembered for his crazy jokes, silly dances, and great personality.
