Joan R. Harding

Joan R. Harding, age 53, departed this life February 5, 2021. She was born October 25, 1967 in Dayton, Ohio to the late John Shepard and Annie Smith. She attended the Dayton Public Schools in Montgomery County. Joan enjoyed sewing, crafts, puzzles and spending time with family and friends. She was a friend and grandma to all, caring for those close to her, near or far. She was fun-loving and sweet, and will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Jerry Selmon, Eugene Gibson and John Edward Shepard Jr.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories her dear husband, John M. Harding; daughter, Millicent Daniels; special grandchildren, Tia Daniels and Yasmine McDaniels; great grandson, Xzavier McDaniels; sisters, Annette Gibson Strong, Jeanette Gibson and Jacqueline (Gary) Edmonds; brothers, Freddie Selmon, Charles Smith, Tony Smith, and James Smith; in-laws, Mr. and Mrs. Cliffton Harding Jr., Bryant and Cindy Harding, Denise and Richard Harding, Patricia Anne Harding; uncle, William Selmon; aunt, Grutel Bills; special niece, Fikirisha Gibson;  a host of other dearly beloved relatives and friends.
