Jimmie L. Seals, Jr.

SEALS, Jr., Jimmie Lee, was born December 11, 1959 to Jimmie Lee Seals, Sr. and Betty Jean Dixon. Jimmie attended Dodge Elementary School, then, went on to McKinley Upper Grade, Chicago. He joined church at an early age, and was a member of Christian Unity Missionary Baptist Church, Chicago, Illinois. Jimmie moved to Dayton, Ohio at the age of 21, where he began to live his life, including joining Mt. Hermon Missionary Baptist Church, Dayton.

He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Gertha Sims; grandfather, Henry Sims; niece, Theresa Laselle Sewell.

Jimmie leaves to cherish his memory, mother, Betty Thompson; children, Shameika Seals, Jessica Seals, Naudia Sales, Jimmy Sims, Joshuah Dozier, Jayden Dozier; sisters, Denise Lipscombs, Shallane Sutton, Pastor Ida Byrd Sewell (Rev. Ralph Sewell); 18 grandchildren; special extended family members, Deborah Stewart, Brenda Elam, Uhonda Dozier.

Funeral service 12 noon Friday, March 5, at Mt. Enon Baptist Church, 1501 W. Third St. Visitation 11 am-12 pm. Interment Jeffersonview Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to House of Wheat Funeral Home, Inc.
