Jimmie David Branigan

Jimmie David Branigan, age 64, of Dayton, Ohio, departed Wednesday, September 20, 2023, at Grandview Hospital.  He was born September 27, 1959, in Sikeston Missouri.  Jimmie was a loving father, a caring brother, and a great uncle with a kind spirit. He loved to make others laugh.  He believed wholeheartedly in God. 

He is preceded in death by his mother, Katherine Branigan; 2 brothers, Paul Marvin Branigan, Steve Nelson Branigan; 1 sister, Mary Nelle Branigan.

Jimmie leaves to cherish his memory his children; Monique Brown, Jimmie Branigan Jr., Jayden, Verna Jean; father, Phillip Russell Branigan; 6 sisters, Irma Byrd, Rubbie (Howard) Manley, Anita, Barbara, Teresa, and Katrina Branigan; 2 brothers, James Branigan, Wayne (Whitney) Branigan; a devoted significant other, Nina Ruffin; best friend, Wolford Payne; a host of grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral service 10 am Thursday, October 5, 2023, at House of Wheat Funeral Home, 2107 N. Gettysburg Avenue, Dayton, Ohio. Interment West Memory Gardens.
