Jermaine was born in Tustin, California on April 21, 1977 to Cora S. Cox and Stanley Dwight Kinney Sr. He graduated from Beavercreek High School, and after working in the electronics field throughout the Dayton area for a few years, Jermaine joined the Army. He honorably protected and served his country for 10 years, and after his obligations to the Army was complete he used his Military GI benefits to attend DeVry University where he graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Technical Management. Jermaine was a social butterfly who loved spending time with his friends and family. He liked nothing more than a day surrounded by his loved ones listening to music, reminiscing on old times, playing video games, and cracking jokes until the wee hours of the morning. He enjoyed working on cars and electronics, with a special interest in installing and improving automotive audio and entertainment systems.
Jermaine was a devoted son, brother and uncle. No one who knew Jermaine will forget his passion for being the voice of truth in any situation, his ability to make you laugh with his quick wit and comedic timing, the love and loyalty he had for this family, and his sheer determination to be true to himself and his principals even in the most difficult of times.
