Jason Henry Henderson, of Dayton, Ohio, born September 24, 1968, in Cleveland, Ohio, died Friday, August 12, 2022. He attended John H. Patterson High School and graduated in 1986. He began his career as an Apprentice Electrician in 2005 then became a Journeyman Inside Wireman on May 28, 2010. He became a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local Union No. 82 in 2006.
Jason was the life of the party. He possessed a bigger than life personality, and had a passion for music, dance, skating, laughter, and friends. Jason was a fierce protector and lover of life and will be missed by many.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert R. Henderson, Sr.; sister, Damaris Kendred; brother, Gregory Henderson; aunts, Hassie B. Taylor, Eleanor Ormand.
He is survived by his mother, Annie Henderson of Englewood, OH; sons, Sterling J. Henderson and Davionne Daniels of Dayton; sisters, Deidre (Gerard) Jordan of Indianapolis, IN, BeTrice (Adam) Casada of Dayton, Tonya Henderson of Dallas TX; brothers, Robert R. Jr. (Lisa) Henderson, of Troy, OH, and Dwain G. Sr. (Darlene) Henderson of Dayton; nephews, Robert R. Henderson, III of Ohio, Gregory Henderson of Honolulu, HI, Dwain G. Jr. (Chrishan) Henderson of Centerville, OH, Nykel Elliott of Dayton OH, Eric Brown of Dayton, OH, David Henderson of Detroit, MI, and Sasha, Misha and Jude Casada of Dayton; nieces, Demetria Brown of Dayton, OH, Marla (Jovan) Smith of Arkansas, Leah Nacion of Honolulu, HI, Yvette (Curtis) Marks of Dallas, TX and Heather Henderson of Dayton; aunt, Minnie (John) Brandon of New York and Carole Grimes of Dayton OH; uncles, Van Boozer of Dayton and Lem Boozer of LaGrange, GA; and a host of cousins, other relatives and many loving friends.
