Inell Wilkes was born March 19, 1933, to Rosetta Wilson in Troy, Alabama, and departed this life Friday, June 20, 2025.
Inell was a loving wife, daughter, mother, sister and grandmother. She was the most loving, selfless, goofiest person you have met. She loved playing cards, watching wrestling and playing her numbers. She was the G.O.A.T. – Greatest of All Time.
She was proceeded in death by her husband, Alonzo Wilkes, Mother, Rosetta Wilson, sister, Diane Wilson, daughter, Linda Bean and granddaughter-in-law Zemica Taylor.
She leaves to cherish her memory, daughter, Joe Ann Bean; stepdaughter, Jo Ann Bean Johnson; grandchildren, Lakita Taylor, Antonio Taylor, Johnny Trigg Jr., Martinez Bean, Crystal Bean, Antoine Gould; great-grandchildren, Sakia Prude, Chekeyla Taylor, Christesha Thompson, Martinez Carroll, Martina Carroll, Johnika Trigg, Johnny Trigg III, Zy’Niyha Taylor, Jon’Tinez Taylor; nine great-great-grandchildren; niece, Monica (James) Ward; nephew Terrence Wilson Sr.; great-nieces and nephews, JhaQuanna Wilson, Jasmine Wilson, James Ward Jr. and Ja’Sean Ward; special friends Dino Young, Dwain Cochran and Tracey Grigsby.
Funeral service 12 pm Tuesday, July 1, 2025 at House of Wheat Funeral Home, 2107 N. Gettysburg Ave., Dayton, OH. Visitation 10 am- 12 pm. Family will receive friends 11 am- 12 pm.
