Mr. Hariel L. Bostic, age 72, was born July 31, 1952, in Electric, AL, to th late Mable and Harrison Bostic. Hariel was called to eternal rest on June 7, 2025, at Grafton Oaks Nursing Home.
Hariel accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at First Baptist Church of Ridgewood Heights, under the leadership of Rev. William Piner. Hariel has been a member of First Baptist Church for over 50+ years. Hariel sang in the youth choir and later with the Sons of First Baptist Male Chorus, which he dearly loved.
Hariel attended Roosevelt High School in Dayton, Ohio. He was an employee of Dayton Press.
Hariel loved spending time with family. He loved football, and his favorite team was the Cleveland Browns. He also loved to go skating, no one could out skate Hariel Bostic… don’t even try it.
Mr. Bostic was preceded in death by both his parents, Mable and Harrison Bostic.
He leaves to cherish fond memories and to celebrate his life: brother and best friend, Herbert Bostic; sister, Donna Casey; cousin, Ester Lee of Columbus, OH; and many other family members, lifelong neighbors and friends of Crown Point; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and loving family members and friends.
Funeral service 11 am Thursday, June 19, 2025 at First Baptist Church of Ridgewood Heights, 116 Hanover Ave., Dayton, OH. Visitation 10 am- 11 am at which time family will receive friends. Interment West Memory Gardens. Arrangements entrusted to House of Wheat Funeral Home.
