Minister Geraldine Lamar Glanton, a resident of Dayton, Ohio for over 50 years, born September 17, 1942 in Oakridge City, TN, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, October 1, 2019. Minister Glanton relocated to Dayton in 1966 and retired from Sinclair Community College after many years of service. Minister Glanton was a member of The Word Pentecostal Assemblies of God.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Harvey Blue and Julia A. Stewart; brothers, George E., Steward, William Henry "Bo" and Robert J. Sr. Lynch; sisters, Ophelia Blue, Joyce Ann Robinson.
Left to cherish precious memories: her daughters, Angie Isaacs of Dayton, OH and Margret Buckner of Springfield, OH; six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation 9 to 11 am Thursday, October 10, 2019 at House of Wheat Funeral Home, Inc., 2107 N. Gettysburg Ave. Graveside service to follow at Jeffersonview Cemetery.
Repast will be held at Mount Enon Baptist Church, 1501 W. Third Street, immediately following the Interment.
