Garland Rodrecus Fletcher

Garland Rodrecus Fletcher, age 58, passed away Wednesday, February 14, 2024 at Hospice of Dayton. Rod, as he was affectionally known, was born on March 12, 1965 in Richmond, Indiana to the late Claude S. and Pauline (Evans) Fletcher.

Rod was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Sharon S. Day-Gunn, Claudia J. Broyles; one brother, James E. Fletcher Sr.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, a son, Garland R. Fletcher Jones Sr.; cherished grandson, Garland Fletcher Jones Jr.; 2 loving brothers, Juan Fletcher, Myron (Danita) Fletcher; devoted twin sister, Gaynelle (Mark) Varvel; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and loyal confidants, David Montgomery, Andre Pardue, and Rayshawn Wilborn.

Funeral service 1 pm Friday, February 23, 2024 at House of Wheat Funeral Home, 2107 N. Gettysburg Avenue, Dayton, Ohio.  Visitation 11 am- 1 pm. Family will receive friends 12 pm- 1 pm.
