Gail D. Cradle

Gail Denise Singleton Cradle (nee: Young), age 64, of Philadelphia, PA, suddenly returned to the arms of our Lord and Savior on April 22, 2022. She was born September 28, 1957, to Mozelle Fluellen.

Gail's three children, Aisha, Brett and Patrice Singleton; eight grandchildren; aunt, Madeline Pryor; cousins, Tracy Nichols, Shannon and Alecia Pryor; daughter-in-law, Angel Singleton, along with extended family and friends are some of the grief-stricken loved ones she leaves behind. Gail is preceded in death by her fathers, John Ellis, and Frank Fluellen; husbands, Wayne Singleton, and Lamont Cradle; cousin, Anthony Pryor.

Gail accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior early in life and lived her life as Christ-like as possible.

She was educated in the public school system in Philadelphia and graduated from South Philadelphia High School.

Gail loved to travel, and she was able to foster that passion along with her first husband, Wayne Singleton. Of that union she bore three children, Aisha, Brett, and Patrice and they traveled the world.

Gail continued to see the world with her second husband, Lamont Cradle.

The one thing Gail loved more than traveling was her family. She was extremely overjoyed and proud of her children and moreover, her grandchildren: Arthur Allen, Bryonne Singleton, Benjamin Singleton, Jaylen Young, Khai’yah Davis, Nia-Mozelle Young, Alixander Singleton, and Kyndall Milton.

Prior to her health challenges, Gail had a successful career as a Certified Nurse’s Assistant. She also did well in the security sector.

Service will be held 10 am Monday, May 2, at House of Wheat Funeral Home, Inc., 2107 N. Gettysburg Ave., Dayton, Ohio. Visitation 9-10 am. Private interment and repass.
