Frank Lee Goodson

Frank L. Goodson, age 107, a beloved member of the Dayton community, passed away May 11, 2024. He was born on May 8, 1917, in Alabama.

Frank was a dedicated employee of the city of Dayton.

Frank’s legacy of love for the blues and his warm personality will forever be cherished by those who loved and knew him.

Frank will be deeply missed by his special friend, Christina Grant. He is also survived by his special nieces, Denise Gunn, Elaine Buford and Roslyn Usher all of Dayton, Ohio; special nephews Tyree Slaughter, Xenia, Ohio and Joe Frank Reed (Joe Joe) Jemison, Alabama. Other survivors include numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

Celebration of Life service 11 am Friday, May 17, 2024 at House of Wheat Funeral Home, 2107 N. Gettysburg Avenue, Dayton, Ohio. Visitation 9 am- 11 am. Family will receive friends 10 am – 11 am. Interment West Memory Gardens.
